FAQ

Common questions

Short answers for the behaviors users ask about most during onboarding and early support.

Are uploads public by default?

No. Uploaded files stay private until you create a share link or request page that exposes access to someone else.

When is a share link created?

Dashboard uploads can prepare a link state while the transfer is running, but the real link is created only after the upload finishes successfully.

What happens if my connection drops?

The upload pauses, keeps its state in the current session, and can resume when the connection returns. If the page reloads, you may need to choose the original file again.

Can clients upload without opening my dashboard?

Yes. Create a file request page and send that link to the client. They can upload directly into the destination you configured.

Can I remove a file or stop sharing it later?

Yes. You can delete the file from the library or revoke the share link so future visits stop working.

Should I keep the app open during large uploads?

Yes for the current mobile release. Large uploads are most reliable when the app stays in the foreground until the transfer finishes.
